Benny Zin is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd, Asia’s leading destination for business, leisure and entertainment.

In his role, Mr. Zin helms the company’s operations across its diverse businesses including hotel, retail, Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) as well as Food and Beverage.

Mr. Zin most recently served as Marina Bay Sands’ interim COO and was formerly Vice President for Conventions and Exhibitions, driving the company’s MICE strategy since its opening in 2010. He played an integral role in overseeing the operations of the Sands Expo & Convention Center, the biggest MICE facility in Singapore, and was instrumental in raising the caliber of world-class events held at Marina Bay Sands.

Prior to joining Marina Bay Sands, Mr. Zin was the Chief Operating Officer of The Palace Management Group, which operated luxury living communities in Miami, Florida. Before this role, Mr. Zin was the Chief Executive Officer of Kardan Communications, a division of publicly traded company Kardan Ltd, overseeing six telecommunications and software companies.

Mr. Zin graduated in political science and economics, and holds a masters degree in social science from Haifa University, Israel. Mr. Zin also completed the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.
