    1. ArtScience Museum will be closed for private functions on:

    2. ArtScience Galleries (Level 4)* holding our permanent exhibition will be closed

    Getting Here


    ArtScience Museum Map

    ArtScience Museum is in Marina Bay Sands, along the Marina Bay waterfront and easily accessible via public transport and car. Once at Marina Bay Sands, the Museum is located along the north Promenade, within walking distance from The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and the Double Helix Bridge. The Museum’s main lobby is on the ground level.

    Bayfront Station (Circle Line) - 10-minute walk
    Promenade Station (Circle Line) – 15-minute walk
    Marina Bay Station (North South Line) – 15-minute walk

    Taxi

    Pick-up and drop-off near The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, along Bayfront Avenue via Raffles Boulevard or Marina Boulevard.


    Car

    The nearest car park is the North Car Park at Marina Bay Sands. The car park entrance is located at Sands Expo and Convention Center, via Bayfront Link.



    Visitor Amenities

    Information and General Assistance

    Approach our service staff at the Museum Box Office for information, directions, advice on what to see, audio-visual guide rental, lost and found, and general assistance. Visitor guides and brochures are also available here.


    Bag Checks

    Visitors can check in their bags and bulky items at the Bag Check counter. Visitors are discouraged from bringing in bulky items such as luggage, umbrellas and musical instruments into the Museum.


    Merchandise

    The Museum Shop offers a range of Museum- and exhibition-inspired merchandise. Open daily from 10am - 10pm.


    Food and Beverage

    SweetSpot Coffee serves European-inspired delights, fine baristas coffee, an assortment of teas, hot chocolate and cold beverages. Open 12pm - 8pm on weekdays; 11am-8pm on weekends and public holidays.


    First Aid

    The First Aid room is open daily from 10am - 10pm. Please approach our service staff if you require any medical assistance.


    Loan of Mobility Aids

    Wheelchairs are available for loan on a first come first served basis. The loan is in exchange for a photo ID and loaned equipment may not be taken out of the Museum.


    Guided Tours

    Guided tours are conducted in English and Mandarin on Saturdays and Sundays. The meeting point is at the rain oculus (near the lifts) at the Main Galleries (Level B2). Each guided tour takes up to 20 people and is on a first come first served basis. Stickers will be given out five minutes before the tour time.


    Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal

    • English sessions: Saturday and Sunday: 11.30am and 5.30pm
    • Mandarin sessions: Saturdays and Sunday: 3pm

    Museum Etiquette

    Food and Drinks

    Consumption of food and drinks in the galleries is strictly prohibited. Food and beverage may be consumed in the lobby and foyer areas. Only food and beverage purchased from the food and beverage outlets within the Museum are allowed within the premises.


    Photography and Video Recording

    Flash photography and filming are strictly prohibited in the galleries.


    Museum Displays

    Visitors are encouraged to be hands on with the interactive displays to enhance your experience of the exhibitions. For artifacts on display, please refrain from touching them as oil and dirt from hands can cause damage to them.


    Noise Level

    For your enjoyment of the exhibitions and the comfort of all visitors, please turn your mobile phone to silent mode and refrain from talking or laughing loudly.


    Safety of Young Visitors

    Young visitors should be accompanied by adults during the visit. Young visitors are advised not to run in the galleries for their safety.


    Smoking

    The Museum is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is prohibited within the Museum premises.


    Pets

    Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not allowed in the Museum.
