Michelle is a soul jazz blues artiste with a charm that attracts an
audience both international and local. As artiste, Michelle received major
record label offers from Europe and USA with best offerings up to a 7-figure
budget, and is glad to have had the honour of performing with sessionists of
Grammy nominees locally and overseas. Michelle’s music cuts across folk, rock,
jazz, soul, pop packaged in her own playful and original style. Her repertoire
spans standards, reinterpretations of classics and her own originals, catered
for the setting; the fun thing about hearing Michelle live is... what she does
evolves with the setting and the crowd.
McGraw once described McQueen as a "combination of farm boy and street tough," and it was the mysterious mixture that helped him leave an indelible impression” This mysterious mixture lives on with the “Steve McQueen” band. Mainstream yet Modern Jazz. The band contains the elements of modern jazz and one can’t help but associate it with the likes of internet fame band “Dirty Loops” in their rendition of rolling in the deep, yet hints and strong elements taken from Dave Wackel, Chako Pustaria and Billy Cobham distinguishes them noticeably. With the sensuous voice of Eugenia flowing and floating just above the surface of their music in concert, it is a delightful experience to thoroughly enjoy what they radiate as they deliver modern jazz music with that young, vibrant and rebellious presence that one captures. The sense of “Feel” in it’s mysterious and various forms.
