How to use the Marina Bay Sands mobile app
Welcome to the Marina Bay Sands mobile app!
For iPhone and Android smartphones
Whether it’s your first or 100th time, use the 'Pocket Concierge’, our new mobile app to help you get around Marina Bay Sands faster and easier.

DOWNLOAD THE APP
To start using the ‘Pocket Concierge’,
- iPhone: download the app from the Apple Apps Store. Find it by typing a search for 'Marina Bay Sands'.
- Android: download the app from Google Play. Find it by typing a search for 'Marina BaySands'.
Follow the instructions to install the app (e.g. press 'Free' or 'install app' button). Once you’ve downloaded it, tap on the Marina Bay Sands icon to start.
NAVIGATING THROUGH THE MOBILE APP
There are two ways to move through the mobile app.
a) From the Featured screen
The first time you open the app, you'll automatically be directed to the Featured screen. This is a great overview of Marina Bay Sands. Explore different categories like ‘Things to Do’ to find out our latest happenings.
iPhone: The Featured tab is always located at the bottom of the screen.
Android: Press the Featured tab located at the top of the screen. If you don’t see it, press the Back Button (located below your smartphone's screen) until you reach the Featured screen.
b) With Navigation Tabs
Use the Pocket Concierge’s navigation tabs to get to information fast.
iPhone: The navigation tabs always sit at the bottom of thescreen, even when they're not visible.
Android: The navigation tabs are located at the top of the Featured and Map screens. Click the Back Button below your smartphone's screen once or multiple times to return to the Featured screen.
Featured Tab
Press the Featured tab for a main overview screen of the app.
Search
Press the Search tab and type the name of the store, restaurant, service or event you’re looking for. You might be prompted with a list of suggestions. If you see an item you want to explore, select it by tapping on it.
Android: Note the Search tab may be located near but separate from the navigation tabs.
Maps
Press the Maps tab to explore our retail mail, hotel, and Sands SkyPark.
iPhone: Use the arrowkeys at the top of the screen to move between floors.
Android: Use the arrow keys at the bottom of the screen to move between floors. Use the zoom buttons to zoom in and out. If you pinch the touchscreen outwards, moving your index and third finger away from each other, you can zoom in to see store or landmark names. Pinch inwards, moving your index and third finger towards each other and you’ll zoom out to see more of the map.
Press the Facilities tab to search for the nearest restroom, ATM, informationcounter or transport option.
WAYFINDING WITH THE 'DIRECTIONS TO HERE' BUTTON
Once you’ve figured out where you want to go, use Wayfinding for easy-to-follow, Point A to Point B directions to get there.
Wayfinding is activated with the ‘Directions to Here’ button featured on most shop, restaurant and attractions listings.
1. Press the 'Directions to Here' button.
2. Type the name of your starting point on the ‘Start From’ screen and press enter. You may be prompted with a list of suggestions as you type. If your starting point is listed, go ahead and tap it.
3. You've be given a map prompting you to follow the highlighted path.
iPhone: To re-orientate the direction of the map, press the left buttonat the bottom of the screen. To choose either the shortest path or awheelchair-accessible route, press the right button at the bottom of the screenand then tap your desired option.
Android alternative: To re-orientate the map, press the left button at the bottom of the screen. Press the left arrow to move backwards along the path. Press the right arrow to move forward along the path. Use the left zoom button to zoom out. Use the right zoom button to zoom in. Press your phone's option button below your screen to toggle between the shortest path or a wheelchair-accessible route.
VIRTUAL TOURS
The 'Pocket Concierge' has some great virtual tours, which let you preview Marina Bay Sands with the touch of a screen. View the stunning SandsSkyPark Infinity Pool, without stepping out the door.
To view a virtual tour:
1. Press the Search tab.
Android: Note the Search tab may be located near but separate from the navigation tabs.
2. Type 'virtual tour'.
3. Drag your finger from the bottom to the top of the screen to scroll through the list.
4. Choose a tour by tapping on it. Wait for the virtual tour to load.
iPhone: Once the virtual tour loads, you can rotate it by tilting your phone left and right, or up and down; or swiping the screen in any direction.
