The indefatigable Gordon Ramsay, Michelin-star chef and reality TV personality, packed plenty of action into his latest trip to Singapore, despite his visit lasting only one day.
Chef Ramsay was in town on business, meeting with his team and interacting with guests at his Bread Street Kitchen restaurant on the evening of Monday 18 January.
At the ambitious hour of 6am the following morning, he joined 20 C-level executives for a networking session on wheels, cycling from Marina Bay Sands to Changi Airport and back in the space of an hour.
Other cyclists in the group included Vodafone President for Asia Ben Elms and Marina Bay Sands Vice President of F&B Tamir Shanel. The riders refuelled with breakfast and fresh-squeezed fruit juices at Bread Street Kitchen after their morning of combined networking and exercise.
Chef Ramsay talked to Straits Times later in the day, mentioning his excitement about the Michelin Guide coming to Singapore this year, and the positive impact it will have on the country's food tourism industry.
In the evening, he dined at Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck’s recently-opened Spago, taking to social media to praise the restaurant’s Pan Seared Red Snapper Laksa noodles.
In his last social media post before departing Singapore for Dubai, Chef Ramsay showed he had plenty of energy left after his busy day by uploading a photo of himself driving a buggy at Changi Airport.
Thanks Chef Ramsay for your visit, we hope you come back soon!
