Flux Realities: A Showcase of Chinese Contemporary Photography

22 August to 2 November 2014

Flux Realities: A Showcase of Chinese Contemporary Photography showcases the works of both well-established as well as emerging Chinese photographers. The exhibition, comprising over 60 photographs of 7 different photographers – Wang Qing Song, Yang Yongliang, Wei Bi, Zhang Dali, Liu Xiaofang, Maleonn (Ma Liang) and Wang Ningde – highlights the individualistic artistic approach and personal experience of China’s recent modernisation process.

An Ocean of Possibilities

31 October to 28 December 2014

Featuring over 200 photos of 34 artists from 21 countries, An Ocean of Possibilities focuses on social developments. The exhibition turns the spotlight on the people who challenge themselves in search of unconventionalities and change their own course. They may be individuals, small communities and businesses who set out to realise a better future, not only for themselves but also for others. The exhibition will be presented at ArtScience Museum after the Noorderlicht International Photofestival.
