Stand Up and Speak Out! Workshop

Family Friday 16 & 30 Aug | 4.30pm - 5.30pm
                          6 & 27 Sep | 11am – 12pm

Explore the possibilities of inflatables as a tool for creating awareness! Using recycled materials the participants will create inflatable sculptures and decorations and stage a peaceful march around the museum to create awareness of a special issue.

*$5 per participant. Up to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

ArtScience on Screen: Up and Away

A family-friendly film programme featuring some of cinema’s most iconic balloon adventures. Experience flight, fantasy and inflated balloons as a selection of brave young heroes go on bold expeditions, to make new friends and follow their curiosity.

This programme is part of a season of events and activities curated in response to our latest exhibition, Floating Utopias: The Transformative Power of Inflatable Art (23 May - 29 September 2019).

Museo Aero Solar

Calling all aeronauts of Singapore! ArtScience Museum will be launching the Museo Aero Solar, a large flying sculpture made entirely of recycled plastic bags at Marina Barrage on 7 September! Join us if you would like to play a part in this exciting launch or if you had previously participated in this community project; either from plastic bag contributions or worked collectively on the plastic bag patchwork. There will be drop-in activities around sustainability, including a competition for you to participate in!
