Frozen 2 comes alive at The Art of Disney

Before augmented reality, live action and CGI, there were cartoons, and one adorable and stylish mouse stands out. Learn the history of the entertainment industry’s most famous rodent, Mickey, and his friends at a new exhibition, The Art of Disney: Magic of Animation till 29 March 2020.

Relive those days from your childhood while learning about the history of all your favourite cartoons, from the initial sketches to the final production. Jointly presented by Walt Disney Animation Studios and ArtScience Museum, the exhibition features original works, sketches, and concept art from Disney’s animation studios, as well as material from the highly anticipated Frozen 2. Be blown away by the ground-breaking art and science behind everything from the first Mickey cartoon, Steamboat Willie (1928) and the first full-length Disney animated feature, 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to The Lion King and Disney’s use of digital animation in Frozen and Moana.
