Beijing No. 1 is a Northern Chinese restaurant that celebrates the history of Tan Cuisine, a famous imperial cuisine passed down from the Qing dynasty. Tan cuisine is prepared mainly by braising, stewing, simmering and steaming, and its advantage lies in assorted seafood cooked in savoury soup stock. Beijing No. 1 is helmed by Executive Chef Shi Wei Dong, who has over 40 years of experience in the Chinese culinary world.
