The gravity-defying cantilever is one of the largest of its kind in the world. The Sands SkyPark is an architectural masterpiece sitting on top of the three hotel towers at Marina Bay Sands. This 1.2 hectare tropical oasis is longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall and large enough to park four-and-a-half A380 jumbo jets. It extends to form the one of the world’s largest public cantilevers.

From August 8th the Sands SkyPark will host live entertainment for hotel guests and the Observation Deck alike.
At the Sands SkyPark infinity pool for hotel guests on Sunday, Monday & Thursday, Friday, Saturday:
DJ Kill “Asia’s King of Clubs” will perform from 7.00PM - 10.00PM.
Without a doubt Asia’s most recognizable Hip Hop DJ, DJ Kill has shared the stage with Linkin Park, Lady Gaga, John Legend and performed for the Black Eyed Peas, Allen Iverson, Yao Ming, Colin Farrell, Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi to name just a few!

While at the Observation Deck, live Acoustic sets will be performed on Sunday, Monday, Friday & Saturday from 6.30PM - 10.00PM. More details of the acts to be released soon!

From this privileged Observation Deck, hundreds of visitors at a time can feast their eyes on the unforgettable panorama view.
Tickets are available to purchase at the Sands SkyPark ticketing counter/Box office located in the new and permanent location at Basement 1. Public entrance to this area is outside Hotel Tower 3 in the Porte Cochere area – off Bayfront Avenue – level 1. (click here to see an image of the entrance)
Guests may enter this area down the escalators to the ticketing counter and then proceed to SkyPark lifts at same level (B1) express to SkyPark.
Ticket purchase must be made in person, on the day of use.
Due to private functions, events, or the weather, on occasion the Skypark Observation Deck may be temporarily closed. If you only have limited time to visit the SkyPark we recommend you call ahead and confirm tickets are available.

Q. When does the Sands SkyPark Open?
A. The Sands SkyPark Public Observation Deck, which is open to members of the public and is a ticketed area, is accessible daily from 10am, and closes at 10pm.
Also, now open is the 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height. While the use of this facility is available to hotel guests only, members of the public will be able to view part of the swimming pool deck adjacent to the Public Observation Deck..
Q. How much are the tickets to the Public Observation Deck?
A. Tickets to Observation Deck are priced at:
- S$20 for adults
- S$14 for children (aged between 2 – 12 years*)
- S$17 for senior citizens (aged 55 years and above)
*Children under 2 years may enter for free. Please note strollers/prams are not permitted on the Skypark – however they may be checked in with the Bell Desk located at Tower 3 Porte Cochere.
Q. Where can I buy the tickets?
A. The public can purchase the tickets to the Public Observation Deck from the box office located in the new and permanent location at Basement 1. Public entrance to this area is outside Hotel Tower 3 in the Porte Cochere area – off Bayfront Avenue – ground floor level.
Q. What are the opening hours of the Public Observation Deck?
A. The Public Observation Deck is open daily from 10am to 10pm*.

Q. How many people can get on the SkyPark?
A. The Public Observation Deck can hold a limited number of people at any one time. We need to allow for the comfort and safety of all guests, so there may be times when we need to halt entries until the capacity has been reduced.
Q. Do all ticketholders go up one go?
A. To ensure all our visitors are able to enjoy the spectacular views from this unique vantage point, and for the comfort and safety of guests, we do have a limit on the number of people that can enter at any one time. However, tickets are valid for a single admittance anytime between 10am and 10pm, and there is no limit to the time guests may stay.
Q. Are there any restaurants/cafes open?
A. When fully operational, the Sands SkyPark will feature world-class dining and entertainment options, including The Sky on 57 restaurant, which will be operated by Singapore’s most celebrated chef, Justin Quek. These dining options are currently scheduled for the third quarter of 2010.
For the initial opening period guests can purchase light refreshments, including snacks, water and soft drinks from the food and beverage booth located at the observation deck.
Q. What is on the SkyPark, what are the key attractions?
A. The Public Observation Deck – which is a ticketed area – will offer very unique experiences. Apart from taking in the stunning views, visitors will learn about the construction of the SkyPark through a complimentary audio guide, which allows visitors to hear commentaries on key commercial and historic parts of Singapore, all of which can be appreciated from this unique vantage point.
Visitors can also enjoy a SkyPark Photo experience, manned by roving photographers, priced at $25. The picture will be inserted in a specially designed photoframe.
SkyPark souvenirs can be purchased from a merchandise booth at the observation deck and from the SkyPark Shop located at the lobby of Tower 2.
Also open is the 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height. The use of this facility is available to hotel guests only but members of the public will be able to access and view part of the swimming pool deck adjacent to the Public Observation Deck.
On weekends there will be entertainment for the young and old. These will include appearances by musicians, Balloon artists and Jugglers.
Q. Can we get to the SkyPark if it’s raining?
A. The Sands SkyPark is equipped with sophisticated weather forecast technology that will alert our operations team of incoming weather patterns, including possible thunder storms. We will try our very best to keep members of the public informed when the Sands Public Observation Deck might be closed due to extreme weather conditions. Should you have limited time to visit the SkyPark, you may wish to call ahead to confirm that tickets are available. Please call +65 6688 8868.
Entry to The Marina Bay Sands SkyPark is subject to the following conditions:
- Entry to The Marina Bay Sands SkyPark is subject to inclement weather. If rain or lightning is present, then the SkyPark may be closed. Only guests that have been up to the SkyPark for less than one (1) hour are entitled to a refund. Management reserves the right to close the SkyPark as they deem necessary.
- Entry to The Marina Bay Sands SkyPark is subject to availability – wait time to enter will be based upon Observation Deck capacity.
- Only children under 2 years of age may enter without a ticket. Everyone else must have a ticket for admittance.
- All guests may be subject to a search, including bags, clothes and other possessions, when entering The Marina Bay Sands SkyPark. Searches may also be carried out whilst inside the premises or when leaving it.
- Throwing any item over the edge of the SkyPark is strictly prohibited. Any guest found contravening this condition will be subject to immediate removal from the premises and/or may be handed over to the Police.
- Guests are not permitted to take luggage up to the SkyPark. Luggage may be checked with the Guest Services Desk located at the Porte Cochere of Tower 3. Checked luggage will be subject to physical or electronic security screening.
- Guests who do not abide by the above rules may be denied entry to or escorted out of the premises.
- Whenever a guest is not permitted to enter the premises or when a guest is escorted out for any reason stated in these conditions, no refund will be paid in respect of the ticket.
- Guests must wear footwear – bare feet are not permitted.
- Loitering on the SkyPark is not permitted.
- The right of admission is reserved and is subject to Marina Bay Sands’, the seller’s and the venue’s Conditions of Entry.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are PROHIBITED and therefore not permitted on The Marina Bay Sands SkyPark:
- Luggage, prams, professional photographic equipment, professional video-recording equipment, pre-purchased food and beverages (these are available for purchase at The SkyPark), glass bottles, aluminum cans, pets (only service animals are permitted), aerosol cans, firearms, knives (including pocket knives), box cutters or weapons of any kind, chairs, picnic blankets, signs, sticks, poles, laser pointers, whistles, air horns, bull horns, fireworks, illegal substances/narcotics, pepper spray, mace and any item deemed by management to be dangerous or inappropriate.
- Prohibited items, excluding pets, weapons and illegal substances/narcotics, may be checked with the Guest Services Desk located at the Porte Cochere of Tower 3. Items may be subject to physical or electronic security screening.
- Whilst umbrellas are not prohibited, it is strongly recommended that guests DO NOT open them while on the SkyPark – the area is subject to strong gusts of wind. Management take no responsibility for loss of items or injuries sustained.
Unlawful items that are discovered during security checks are subject to being confiscated and the person in possession of those items may be handed over to the Police.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking at the SkyPark is strictly prohibited.
