To commemorate SG60, Marina Bay Sands’ signature Sands for Singapore Charity Festival marked its 11th year of giving by honouring all things local. Through a series of unique fundraising activities and volunteering activities, the Festival celebrated unity and strengthened Singapore’s community spirit, concluding with over S$5.2 million raised for local charities and lifting the total amount raised to more than S$45 million since 2013.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the Festival’s cause and helped make a collective difference in our society. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026, where we will continue championing local causes and bringing the community together in even more impactful ways.
In support of the Festival’s cause, select Marina Bay Sands signature restaurants donated all sales proceeds from a range of specially curated desserts, as well as from an epicurean dessert box — The Sweet Collective — to support vocational training programmes for adults with special needs.
The Festival celebrated the works of Singaporean artistes such as celebrity Glenn Yong and local bands 53A, Jive Talkin' and SuperSonic, who delivered high-energy sets that kept the crowd grooving all night long.
Partnering with The Food Bank Singapore, Marina Bay Sands matched virtual food bundles assembled by the public through gameplay in a life-sized digital game at the Event Plaza. Over 1,000 bundles were donated, directly benefitting individuals and families in need.
As part of the Festival, four of our signature restaurants—Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, Bread Street Kitchen, Origin + Bloom and RISE Restaurant—curated exclusive pop-up experiences at the Event Plaza. All proceeds were donated to AWWA’s Transitional Shelter programme, which provides temporary housing for displaced families in need.
16 non-profit, social enterprises and small businesses came together to offer a curated selection of products made by their beneficiaries — from baked goods and handcrafted bags to crocheted accessories and lifestyle items – with all proceeds retained by the participating organisations – highlighting local craftsmanship.
Throughout the Festival, Marina Bay Sands’ Team Members gave back to the community through various meaningful initiatives, generating over 7,700 volunteering hours across eight weeks. Activities included donating art supplies to support art therapy programmes, sewing blankets with seniors and taking them on trishaw rides around Marina Bay, as well as assembling hygiene kits for disadvantaged communities.
In conjunction with the Festival, over 3,000 participants came together for Heartstrings Walk, while 168 competitive racers scaled 57 storeys in the Race to the Sky Vertical Marathon, reaching the iconic SkyPark Observation Deck.
A three-year pledge of S$750,000 was also made to unlock the SG Gives Matching Grant, amplifying our collective impact in supporting national social and community programmes.
