Amway China Leadership Seminar: Largest Post-Pandemic Incentive Group in Singapore

Sands Expo & Convention Centre hosted over 10,000 top Amway delegates from China

Returning to Singapore for the first time in 18 years, the Amway China Leadership Seminar hosted 10,000 of its top-performing sales representatives in four waves at Sands Expo & Convention Centre from 29 August to 12 September. It was the largest incentive group in Singapore since the pandemic.

The versatility of the Sands Grand Ballroom, Southeast Asia’s largest ballroom, was demonstrated during the event, as it hosted both the Business Conference and Gala Dinner within the same day.

Delegates started the day with an insightful Business Conference to learn about upcoming programmes in a theatre-style setting. Later the same day, they returned to a banquet extravaganza for an unforgettable Gala Dinner, with mesmerising traditional performances and dazzling pyrotechnics.

Enhancing event experience with Bay Precinct Strategy

Marina Bay Sands also provided an expanded platform for the Amway team, offering a unique opportunity to tap into collective offerings around Marina Bay through the Bay Precinct Strategy. From luxury accommodations to dining and entertainment, the enhancement enabled planners to curate a well-rounded stay experience for their top sales representatives, making Singapore an attractive destination for exceptional events.

The Amway China Leadership Seminar is one of many high-profile events in which clients have been opting for larger spaces, extended engagements across multiple days, or both. Ong Wee Min, Vice President of Sales and MICE at Marina Bay Sands, said: “The scale of the events has increased tremendously. This is because delegates and attendees expect more of such events and with this, experience design and creation become ever more important. Events are no longer just about being in an exhibition hall or being in a ballroom. Instead, we are seeing events take over multiple levels and incorporate activities across the Marina Bay area to drive engagement and bring experience design to a whole new level.”
