Founded in 2016, Polène is a French leather goods Maison with boutiques in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, London, Hamburg, Copenhagen and Milan. Its collections are distinguished by the rich exchange between designers at the Paris studio and artisans at the production ateliers in Ubrique, Spain. Today, more than 2,200 artisans contribute to the creation of its bags.

Inspired by a sensitive observation of nature, the leather goods collections deploy a vocabulary of organic forms achieved through ingenious manufacturing techniques: leather moulded on wood, draped panels secured with hand stitching, braiding and origami derived from complex patterns. Designing with circularity as a guiding principle opens up a whole field of creative expression for Polène, giving new purpose to offcuts from its models.
