Proenza Schouler launched the Hava Bag on the runway for Spring 2016. The name comes from the Cuban-Spanish slang word for bag, “hava”, and is a nod to the city of Havana, which inspired the brand’s pre and main Spring 2016 collections.

The Hava bag features the brand’s signature design elements, including topstitching, painted edges, folded gusset construction and custom hardware. Hava chain and shoulder bags feature hallowed out closures that are an oversize riff of the classic PS1 tab hardware.
