Harnessing Solar Energy
The SkyPark is one of the highest locations in Singapore fitted with solar panels. The 536 solar panels atop the walkway cover an area of over 880m2 and generates over 160,000 kWh of energy a year - enough to power the lighting throughout the SkyPark!
Increasing Energy Efficiency
Our hotel rooms are installed with room control units which adopt a control methodology based on real-time occupancy. This adjusts the interior air-conditioning and lighting accordingly to minimise energy consumption, while maximising guests’ comfort.
The resort is also equipped with a S$50 million Intelligent Building Management System which has over 125,000 data points that track energy, water and air quality.
Transportation & Equipment
In 2025 Marina Bay Sands introduced a line of cutting edge luxury electric vehicles as part of our guest transportation fleet. We also offer visiting guests electric vehicle chargers with universal compatibility for all models, featuring smart charging and load management capabilities. These chargers can be found throughout the central & south carparks.
