The Digital Light Canvas remains open and will adhere to tightened measures from 16 May to 13 June 2021. Visitors are reminded to keep to groups of not more than two persons during this period, and to pre-purchase their tickets online prior to visit.

Our enhanced measures include:

TraceTogether-only venue: From 17 May 2021, present your TraceTogether App or Token for SafeEntry check-in.
Temperature screening: Temperature screening will be conducted prior to entry.
Safe distancing measures: Capacity has been reduced, while the permissible group size is two persons. Groups are to ensure one metre distance apart.
Enhanced hygiene protocol: Disinfection of all high-touch surfaces, as well as deep cleaning pre and post operating hours.
Enhanced protection: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks will be worn by all staff. Hand sanitisers are readily available.

Digital Light Canvas is presented in collaboration with teamLab, the Japanese collective behind Future World: Where Art Meets Science at ArtScience Museum.

Fall into an immersive world

Part I: Strokes of Life

Paint calligraphic art with every step you take, as brushstrokes blossom in your wake. This four-minute sequence takes place half-hourly.

Part II: Nature’s Rhythm

Watch flocks of birds swoop through the 14-metre-tall light sculpture overhead as thousands of fishes swim in the LED-lit ocean beneath your feet.

Set off virtual fireworks

Decorate the teamLab Crystal Tree with ornaments, or use your phone to set off over 30 animated Crystal Fireworks and light displays.

Create personalised messages

Have a personalised message appear on the LED floor in beautiful calligraphy, complemented by fireworks in the suspended light sculpture. For more information, visit the Retail Concierge Counter near Digital Light Canvas.

Before you go

When is the best time to visit the show?

Friday evenings and Saturdays are usually the peak periods. Visit from Sunday to Thursday for the best experience.

Are there any admission guidelines or age restrictions?

Only children under 2 years of age can enter without a ticket. All other parties must have a ticket for admittance. Proof of age may be required before entry is granted.
Children 6 years of age & below must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What are the best vantage points to view the show?

For a bird’s-eye view of the show, head to Level 2. If you would rather admire the show at Level 1, anywhere around Rasapura Masters food hall (B2-50, Canal Level) will offer prime views of Digital Light Canvas.

Can Digital Light Canvas be viewed from any of Marina Bay Sands’ restaurants or eateries?
