Following the sold-out 2025 season of Swan Lake, the acclaimed State Ballet of Georgia returns to Sands Theatre this November with the beloved holiday classic — The Nutcracker.
Christmas comes early as the company brings Tchaikovsky’s cherished score to life. On Christmas Eve, young Clara receives a nutcracker doll that leads her into a dreamlike world where toys come alive, a battle unfolds with the Mouse King, and shimmering snowflakes guide her through an enchanted winter kingdom.
Accompanied by the transformed Nutcracker Prince, Clara journeys to the Kingdom of Sweets, where a series of dances celebrate cultures from around the world, culminating in the appearance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
With a touring company of 60 and widely regarded as one of the world’s top ten classical ballet companies, the State Ballet of Georgia presents a large-scale production combining refined classical technique, traditional staging, and visually enchanting ensemble scenes. Perfect for audiences of all ages, critics have praised its “refined classical elegance” and described the production as “a visually enchanting interpretation of a timeless holiday ballet”.

- Admission Policy (based on date of birth):
- Recommended Age: 7 and above
- Admission Age: No admission for children aged below 7.
- Tickets are required for all patrons. There will be strictly no admission without a ticket. All children below 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Booster seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They are not included with the purchase of your ticket. Patrons are welcome to bring their own booster seat(s). Kindly note that booster seats provided by Marina Bay Sands are only for use within the event venue.
Doors open 60 minutes before the show. We strongly encourage guests to arrive early. Kindly note that latecomers will not be admitted into the venue until a suitable break during the performance.
No food or drinks are allowed in the venue unless bought or served as part of the event. All outside food and drink items not bought or served as part of the event will have to be consumed / discarded prior to entry.

Photography, filming, audio recording and live streaming are strictly prohibited during the performance. All DSLR / cameras with interchangeable or built-in zoom lenses; drones; action cameras (e.g. GoPro, DJI Osmo, Insta360, Akaso); and all other recording devices are strictly prohibited inside the venue and will need to be stored in the Cloakroom.
Attendee(s) can access restrooms located at the venue during the event. We encourage attendees to use the restroom before entering the event venue to avoid formation of long queues and/or waiting time. Please note that you will only be re-admitted at a suitable break during the performance.
