- By signing up to the Sands LifeStyle Membership Programme, Members consent to any MBS-Authorised Party Processing their Data for the Purposes as set out in the Personal Data Processing section.
- Member warrants that all information provided in connection with their application is true, accurate and complete and that they are the user and/or subscriber of the telephone number(s) provided.
- To serve Members better, MBS can communicate with Members on Members' preferred third party social media/messaging applications (such as but not limited to WeChat, WhatsApp, Line, Kakao). By using such social media/messaging applications to communicate with MBS, Member understands that such communications will be governed by the relevant applications’ prevailing terms and conditions.
Definition
MBS Authorised Parties refers to parties responsible for the Data Processing (‘MBS-Authorised Party’): (1) Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and its related companies, e.g. Las Vegas Sands Corp. in the U.S., Sands China Limited in Macau, etc. (collectively, ‘Company’); and/or (2) and/or any other party listed in the prevailing MBS Privacy Policy at https://www.marinabaysands.com/privacy-policy.html.
Data includes any information relating to Member e.g. the Member’s personal details, contact details, preferences, activities and transactions at MBS, biometric data, etc. whether in the possession of or as collected by or provided from time to time to any MBS-Authorised Party.
Processing of Data includes any MBS-Authorised Party (1) collecting, using, or storing Member’s Data, (2) disclosing Member’s Data to another MBS-Authorised Party, and/or (3) contacting Member via any means of communication including postal mail, email, text messaging, telephone call, MBS devices, MBS applications, MBS websites, social media/ messaging applications (such as but not limited to WeChat, WhatsApp, Line, Kakao) and other third party websites that Members visit.
Purposes of Data Processing include (1) Assessing and administering benefit entitlements and dealing with matters relating to Member’s Membership or relationship with any MBS-Authorised Party; (2) Responding to Member’s requests; (3) Conducting surveys or following up on Member survey responses; (4) Understanding Member preferences and their activities at MBS; (5) Providing Member with personalised services and customised marketing content; (6) Conducting data analytics and profiling; (7) Providing and improving customer service; (8) Maintaining safety and security and crime prevention at the premises; (9) Conducting any MBS-Authorised Party’s legal, operational, business or development purposes; (10) Any purpose(s) in the prevailing MBS Privacy Policy; and/or (11) Complying with or addressing any applicable (i) MBS-Authorised Party’s internal policies or contractual obligations, (ii) third party requests, and/or (iii) law, regulation, guideline, notice or request issued by any Authority.
