Sometimes the world runs so fast that it feels like a blur, swooshing by and leaving you behind. Learn about haikus, a traditional Japanese poetry, and how it can slow us down and soak in the natural bliss around us.

About Loh Guan Liang:

Loh Guan Liang is the author of two poetry collections: Bitter Punch and Transparent Strangers. Bitter Punch was shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize in 2018. Guan Liang also co-translated Art Studio (Math Paper Press, 2014), a Chinese novel by Singapore Cultural Medallion recipient Yeng Pway Ngon. In 2011, he emerged winner of Moving Words, a nationwide poetry competition organised by SMRT and The Literary Centre. His poems and short stories have appeared in the Singapore Memory Project, The Substation Love Letters Project, READ! Singapore and many others.
