For decades, Dutch artist Theo Jansen has laboured in his studio and on the windswept beaches of the Netherlands, striving to bring his beloved, majestic Strandbeest sculptures to life. As Jansen pursues his dream of creating new life, he has become increasingly aware of time and his own mortality.
Pipe Dream is a documentary film about Jansen’s lifelong project and is presented as part of ArtScience Laboratory’s Inspired By strand.
