More than Human explores the connections between people, plants, animals and our shared world. It is a large-scale exhibition that inspires visitors of all ages to discover how people learn from nature, work with living systems and imagine new ways to care for the planet. At its heart is a simple question: what might the future look like if we designed not just for people, but with animals, plants and entire ecosystems in mind?
Featuring more than 140 artworks, objects, immersive installations, new commissions and hands-on experiences, More than Human brings together international artists, designers, architects, researchers and communities, whose work shows how creativity can reshape the way we understand nature and our place within it.
The exhibition introduces more-than-human design, an approach that considers the needs of animals, plants and ecosystems. Through playful and thought-provoking works, visitors can explore how living things are connected, and how care and cooperation can shape a better shared future.
More than Human encourages us to see the world anew. From forests and oceans to gardens and everyday materials, it inspires us to notice the living systems that support us and imagine how we can care for them. It offers a new way of seeing ourselves: not apart from nature, but as part of a larger family of life.
More than Human is a touring exhibition from the Design Museum, London, developed in collaboration with Future Observatory (UK), the Design Museum’s national research programme for the green transition, and supported by the UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council (UK). Expanded for Singapore with new works and perspectives from across Asia, this edition is co-curated by ArtScience Museum and the Design Museum, London, and supported by DesignSingapore Council.

What does it mean to live in relation with a place, a landscape, a material or another living being?
Marking the opening of More than Human, In Relation invites audiences into the exhibition for an evening of in-gallery roving conversations with artists, designers and practitioners whose work explores ways of living and making beyond a human-centred perspective.

Who do we share this world with? In this kid-friendly guided tour, buzz through the galleries as a bee and discover how we can care for our shared planet.
Fluttering from artworks to immersive experiences, young learners will observe how people, plants and animals are interconnected and develop a deeper appreciation for nature.
Selected Tuesdays, 3.30pm
Join us for a guided tour of More than Human, where art, science and design come together to reimagine our relationship with the living world. Led by an Education Specialist, the tour reveals how artists, designers, and communities propose new ways of living alongside nature, encouraging us to envision a more symbiotic and sustainable future.
Kindly note that same-day exhibition ticket will be required for entry.
