About ArtScience Museum

It’s where the future is imagined

ArtScience Museum is a space where art and science converge. We are a haven for creativity, cutting-edge innovation and the bold ideas that emerge out of unexpected connections.

A space for art, science & the human spirit

Since opening in 2011, our 21 galleries have been a home for the world’s most radical thinkers, makers and shapers of the future. We’re proud to be a multidisciplinary space that celebrates cosmology, couture, environmental justice, animation and everything in-between.

Highlights

Our Iconic Architecture

Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, our museum is inspired by the shape of a lotus in full bloom. Each ‘frond’ on the building contains a different gallery, with skylights illuminating the curved interior walls to create a dramatic silhouette on the skyline.

The building also marries function with form by incorporating environmental features into its design. Rainwater is collected on the museum’s roof, channelled through the atrium, and recycled for use.

  • It could not be more appropriate that the ArtScience Museum in Singapore produces this wonderful exhibition on Richard Feynman's work. The Nobel Museum in Stockholm is very proud to collaborate with ArtScience Museum – a unique institution in the world –
Olov Amelin, Director of Nobel Museum, on the Feynman exhibition, January 2019
  • There [has never] been a show that has gone to such lengths to draw connections between minimalism, eastern religion and philosophy, or between art and science.
The Sydney Morning Herald review on Minimalism, Feb 2019
  • I really appreciate what you’ve done with this exhibition. Your exhibition will catalyse tens of thousands of conversations, and those conversations are the first step in creating connections that will enable our resiliency.
Ariel Muller, Director, Forum for the Future, on 2219, November 2019
