Children go free! Every Friday*, up to four children under 12 years old enter for free with every adult ticket purchased.

Interact, learn and play as a family with a series of child-friendly activities and programmes.

Public Guided Tours

TREASURES OF THE NATURAL WORLD 
Family Fridays - 06, 20 & 27 April | 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Venue: Exhibition Entrance, Basement 2

Join us on an awe-inspiring voyage into the wonderful world of natural history populated with highlights handpicked from the prestigious institute The Natural History Museum, London. Our guided tour digs into the stories behind some of the greatest geological, flora and fauna specimens, bringing them to life whilst exploring the ever-evolving relationship between humanity and nature, past, present and possible future.   

Complimentary to ticket-holders of Treasures. Up to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration stickers will be given out five minutes before tour begins at exhibition entrance.

ART FROM THE STREETS
Family Fridays - 13 April | 3:00pm - 3:45pm
Venue: Exhibition Entrance, Level 3

How have street artists changed the face of our urban environment globally? What is the creative sphere of this distinct drive? Be guided on a reflective journey into this artistic movement’s history and development from the 1970s to date.   

 


Workshops

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ORNITHOLOGIST WORKSHOP
Family Fridays - 13, 20 & 27 April | 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Venue: Rainbow Room, Basement 2

Have you ever wondered why eagles' talons are so sharp? Or why flamingos' feathers are so pink? Observe, experiment, record and role-play in this highly interactive 'wings-on' workshop!

S$5 per participant. Up to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

EXPRESS YOURSELF
Holiday Specials - 06 April | 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Venue: Education Classroom, Basement 1

Express yourself by experimenting with your artistic side and tap on your inner creativity to find out where you could take yourself! Using techniques such as drawing, collaging, word association and mixed media, this workshop aims to promote dialogue and open discussion about issues that can be addressed through art. At the end, you will create your own artwork to help you get started on your personal creative path!
