- World Gourmet Summit 2015 Exclusive
A Gastronomy Journey of Brazil
30 April 2015, Thursday | 7:00pm
S$170++ per person
Journey into the life of Brazilians through a showcase of Brazilian food with a gastronomy touch. Coming from the different regions of Brazil, the dinner showcases the Brazilian snacks, salads, barbequed meats, seafood and traditional desserts. The entire selection reflects the Brazilian culture and lifestyle as well as their passion in enjoying life to the fullest.
A-La-Carte buffet (2.5 hours)
Right from the beginning, guests will face an intense line-up of Brazilian assault. An overwhelming arrangement of unique flavours coming from the regions of Sao Paulo and even Rio De Janerio with starters that include cream soup, salad and snacks prepared in the traditional way will be served.
For this one night only, we bring forth premium meats that are prepared in a way not commonly available in Singapore. This is a series of meat carvings and plated services ranging from Salted codfish to Wagyu beef and rack of lamb. In total, 8 selections of premium meats will be presented.
Our Brazilians’ love for food is evident even in their desserts. These desserts are well paired in a mild yet delightful way to match the intense flavours experienced during the meat assault. A touch of alcohol, an additional twist of acidity from our Crème de Papaya, Passionfruit Mousse, and a few others will bring your senses to a soothing calmness to call it a night.
'Churrascaria' is Portuguese for barbeque restaurant, and the atmosphere at Carnivore is fun, relaxed and simple. Knife-welding passadors (meat waiters) move around the tables, carving grilled meats from large skewers onto diners' plates. Here, the meats are marinated with a traditional Brazilian recipe and rotisserie-cooked over open fire till perfection. Be pampered with an array of meats - beef hump, rib, rump, lamb leg, chicken thigh, chicken heart, fish, pork sausage, and more.
We let diners control their service with green and red discs: A green disc signals the passador that you want the meats to keep coming. A red disc indicates you're full and stops service.
Gather your good friends, get rowdy, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Carnivore!
