The following terms and conditions and any other applicable specific terms and conditions relevant to the hotel room type or hotel offer package (“Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to your hotel room bookings, and shall form a legal agreement between Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. (“MBS”) and you. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms and conditions herein and the specific terms and conditions relevant to the hotel offer package, the specific terms and conditions relevant to the hotel offer package will prevail followed by the terms and conditions herein. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking. By making a booking with MBS, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation Policy
  • For hotel rooms booked under a specific hotel offer package, the right to cancel your hotel room booking, applicable cancellation charge and no-show charge are set out in the terms and conditions applicable to that specific hotel offer.
  • For hotel rooms not booked under any specific offer package, the right to cancel your hotel room booking, applicable cancellation charge and no-show charge will be determined by the room rate selected by you.
  • Applicable cancellation policy and no-show charge will be shown on your booking confirmation. 
  • Rates quoted are based on your period of stay and are subject to change if you change your arrival and/or departure dates. Rates quoted are in Singapore Dollars. Rates apply for the number of adults indicated at point of booking only. Additional fees are applicable for each additional adult. Rates are subject to 10% Service Charge and prevailing Goods and Services Tax.
  • A rate modifier will apply should you decide to stay in a higher room category than the one originally booked. All services not included in the hotel offer package or in your room rate shall be charged separately.
  • Any extension of stay will be charged based on either the prevailing room rate or rate set out in your hotel offer packages offered by MBS.
  • A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. Upon booking, your credit card will be charged the amount indicated on the booking confirmation page and email. MBS accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, China Union Pay, JCB and Diners Club. Debit Cards are not accepted. 
  • All charges for your stay will be in Singapore Dollars.
  • Blackout dates may apply.
  • In the event that you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, MBS reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the booking at its discretion, and will contact you directly in order to do so.
  • Bookings are not transferable. No name change is allowed.
  • All hotel offers are restricted to 24 or fewer rooms and are not valid for group bookings. For bookings of groups of 25 rooms and above, please email the hotel.
  • Room rates for Deluxe and Premier Rooms do not include (i) breakfast unless stated otherwise in the terms and conditions of the hotel offer package and (ii) club benefits.
  • Room rates for Club Room, Grand Club Room and Suites include club benefits and breakfast for the number of adults indicated at point of booking only. Club benefits and any consumption at Club 55 are chargeable for any child or any additional guest.
  • Room rates for all room types do not include breakfast for children aged 6 -12 years.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to check-in and register for a room.
  • Check-in time is from 3pm onwards and check-out time is by 11am. A valid government issued identification or passport is required at check-in. MBS reserves the right to make changes to the check-in and check-out time.
  • Should you arrive at MBS prior to the normal check-in time, please approach MBS’ Guest Services Desk for assistance in storing your luggage until check-in is available. If you will be arriving early, you are advised to consider booking the day before your arrival for early access to your room. 
  • Late check-outs are available on request subject to room availability and occupancy levels. Please check with MBS’ Front Desk at least 24 hours prior to your departure on availability of late check-out. A half-day room charge may be imposed for late check-outs between 11am to 6pm and a full day room charge may be imposed for late check-outs after 6pm.
  • A deposit of S$200 is applicable for each night of stay by way of cash payment or credit card. A valid credit card is required upon check-in for payment of incidentals in addition to full payment of the room and prevailing government taxes.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to be a Sands Rewards LifeStyle member.
  • You must be a member and present a membership card before check-out to earn Reward Dollars.
  • Reward Dollars cannot be accrued for: (i) hotel bookings made via online travel agencies or any other third party; (ii) selected hotel discounted rates; and/or (iii) purchase or redemption of hotel vouchers.
  • Payment must be made by cash/credit card/debit card to earn Reward Dollars.
  • Reward Dollars cannot be used to pay for hotel offer packages.

  • Please note that as an affiliate of a US company, MBS is unable to allow access to the MBS Casino or to conduct foreign currency transactions for individuals who are solely nationals of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria or Crimea Region of Ukraine. However, all our guests are welcome to experience our non-gaming attractions (e.g. our hotel and restaurants).
  • MBS shall not be in default or liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under its agreement with you relating to your hotel booking, to the extent such performance is prevented or disrupted by a Force Majeure Event. MBS may cancel the booking by written notice and all monies paid shall be returned to you in such event. For the purpose of this clause, “Force Majeure Event” shall mean a cause which arises from circumstances beyond MBS’ reasonable control including but not limited to (i) strike, boycott or other industrial action; (ii) Act of God or other natural disaster such as but not limited to typhoon, hurricane, major flood, fire, damage or destruction by lightning, earthquake, volcanic activity or tsunami; (iii) any riot, civil disturbance or any act of war or terrorism; (iv) any major shortage, unavailability or disruption in the supply of labor, materials, fuels, transportation services or major disruption of postal, electrical, telephone or other utility service; (v) any epidemic, outbreaks of infectious diseases or other public health crisis including the impositions of quarantines or other employee restrictions in response to such crisis; and (vi) any governmental law, regulation, directive or advisory in effect on or after the date of the booking.
  • MBS may revise, alter or delete any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • You shall indemnify and hold MBS harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising out of, and/or in connection with the acceptance of your reservation by MBS.
  • To the extent permitted by law, MBS shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of your booking by MBS.
  • These Terms and Conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and any dispute arising out of these Terms and Conditions and our services shall be exclusively submitted to the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
  • A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any term of such agreement or these Terms and Conditions.
  • The original English version of these Terms and Conditions may be translated into other languages. In the event of a dispute between the English version and any other language version of these Terms and Conditions, the English language shall apply and prevail.

You consent to any MBS-Authorised Party collecting, using, storing, and/or disclosing to another MBS-Authorised Party your Data or contacting you via telephone call, text message, email and/or postal mail to: (i) administer your hotel stay booking or customer service or your relationship with any MBS-Authorised Party; (ii) respond to your requests or communications; (iii) conduct surveys or Data profiling and analytics to learn about your hotel stay and preferences; (iv) improve guest experience for you and others; (v) protect the safety of persons and property; (vi) comply with or address any applicable MBS-Authorised Party’s internal policies or contractual obligations, third party requests, and/or law, regulation, guideline, notice or request issued by any Authority; and/or (vii) administer any MBS-Authorised Party’s legal, operational, business or development purposes, or any purpose(s) in the prevailing MBS privacy policy. You further warrant that all information provided by you in this form is true, accurate and complete.

Terminology – (1) “Data” means any information relating to you, whether in the possession of or as received from time to time to any MBS-Authorised Party. (2) “MBS-Authorised Party” means any of the following party/parties whether located in Singapore or elsewhere: (i) Las Vegas Sands Corporation in the U.S. or its related companies, e.g. Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, Venetian Macau Limited in Macau (collectively, “Company”); (ii) the Company’s potential or existing third party service providers, contracting parties and/or agents; (iii) your selected payment service provider to process payments to MBS; (iv) any governmental or regulatory authority or its related entities of any jurisdiction (“Authority”); and/or (v) any other party listed in the prevailing MBS privacy policy.

  • MBS implements the vaccination-differentiated safe management measures. All checked-in guests above the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated, have a valid negative Pre-event Test (PET) result, or have a valid exemption from PET, for the duration of their stay.

  • MBS does not permit the check in of any guest who is under Protocol 1 (unwell and tested positive), 2 (well and tested positive) or 3 (issued a Health Risk Warning) according to the Ministry of Health’s advisory. Guests who discover they are under Protocol 1, 2 or 3 subsequent to check-in must disclose this to MBS immediately and may be required to check out at MBS’s request.

  • All check in guests must provide health and other declarations and Government mandated information for contact tracing purposes. This includes the declarations required under Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.

  • No visitors will be allowed to the rooms; all occupants of each room must be a checked-in guest.

  • Permitted Group Size: Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions, MBS prohibits the gathering of more than 2 unique individuals in any hotel room or suite on any single day, both of whom should either be fully vaccinated, have a valid negative PET test result or have a valid exemption from PET for the duration of the stay, if above the age of 12.

  • MBS’ hotel rooms are strictly for the purposes of accommodation for its checked-in guests. Only checked-in guests may occupy the room overnight. In the event non-registered persons are found to be occupying the room overnight, MBS shall have the right to require such persons to leave the hotel room.

  • In the event the number of guests in any hotel room exceeds the Permitted Group Size, MBS shall have the right to disperse such gathering and require such number of guests in excess of the Permitted Group Size to leave the hotel room. This clause does not restrict any of such guests in excess of the Permitted Group Size from making a separate room booking with MBS for their stay.

  • MBS may impose an administrative charge of up to S$3,000 (“Administrative Charge”) if the number of guests in any hotel room is in breach of prevailing government restrictions on social gatherings. The Administrative Charge is a genuine estimate of the cost that MBS incurs in carrying out the necessary preventive and investigative work to ensure that the number of persons in the hotel room does not breach government regulations. Where MBS becomes aware that a guest had permitted a gathering in a hotel room in breach of government regulations after a guest had checked-out of the hotel, MBS shall be entitled to levy the Administrative Charge and charge a sum not exceeding S$3,000 to such guest’s credit-card on record.

  • All guests shall comply with MBS’ COVID-19 response procedures during their stay which include procedures required under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020 applicable to hotels. Guests who test positive or who receive a Health Risk Warning whilst staying at MBS should inform the hotel immediately and comply with prevailing isolation and testing protocols (“Protocols”) prescribed by the Ministry of Health.

  • MBS may deny entry to, or request guests to leave, the hotel or hotel room:

    • if the checked-in guest does not provide the required declaration and contact tracing information;
    • if the guest is older than 12 years of age and is not fully vaccinated or does not have a valid negative PET result nor a valid exemption from PET;
    • if the guest is under Protocol 1 (unwell and tested positive), 2 (well and tested positive) or 3 (issued a Health Risk Warning) according to the Ministry of Health’s advisory;
    • to any person who is not registered as an overnight guest with the hotel;
    • to any person in order to enforce the Permitted Group Size in a hotel room;
    • to any person who is febrile or who displays any COVID-19 symptoms;
    • to any person who does not comply with MBS’ COVID-19 response measures or the Ministry of Health Protocols.

And may also take further steps denying such persons the right to make bookings/stay at the hotel.

In addition to the above terms and conditions, guests travelling to Singapore under any Safe Travel, Air Travel Pass, Vaccinated Travel Pass or similar arrangement must:

  • identify this to MBS at the point of room reservation.  MBS reserves the right to make changes to the room type under guest’s original room booking if MBS becomes aware at the time of guest’s check-in that guest is a traveller under such an arrangement; and
  • remain self-isolated in their assigned room until the post arrival COVID-19 test result is confirmed to be negative. If MBS becomes aware of any violation, MBS is obligated to report this to the relevant government authorities and will also act in accordance with its COVID-19 response procedures.
