In conjunction with In the Ether — A Festival of Quantum Science and Technology programme lineup, we invite you on a quantum quest into the realm of Doctor Quanta’s Kopitiam.
Embark on a reimagined Dungeons and Dragons journey with a local twist! The Quantum Kopi Experience is a 3-act interactive theatre adventure that blends puzzles, storytelling and playful science. Participants will uncover quantum concepts such as Observer Effect, Superposition and Particle-Wave Duality through a light-hearted kopi mystery designed to entertain and spark curiosity.
Guided by hawkers in this live puzzle theatre, participants will explore a series of quirky, interactive set pieces, including a laser maze, control panels and kopi making machines. Each session runs for about 60 to 75 minutes and is designed to be engaging and accessible for all ages.
The story begins when two rival hawkers accuse each other of causing the sudden disappearance of Doctor Quanta. Your mission: uncover the truth behind Doctor Quanta’s disappearance, solve the mystery of the feuding hawkers, and see if you can create the ultimate brew before it all vanishes into the quantum realm.
