ArtScience Museum is in Marina Bay Sands, along the Marina Bay waterfront and easily accessible via public transport and car. Once at Marina Bay Sands, the Museum is located along the north Promenade, within walking distance from The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and the Helix Bridge. The Museum's main lobby is on the ground level.

The nearest car park is the North Car Park at Marina Bay Sands. The car park entrance is located at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, via Bayfront Link.

Information and General Assistance

Approach our service staff at the Museum Box Office for information, directions, advice on what to see, audio-visual guide rental, lost and found, and general assistance. Visitor guides and brochures are also available here.

Bag Checks

Visitors can check in their bags and bulky items at the Bag Check counter. Visitors are discouraged from bringing in bulky items such as luggage, umbrellas and musical instruments into the Museum.


The Museum Shop offers a range of Museum- and exhibition-inspired merchandise. Open daily from 10am - 10pm.

Food and Beverage

FabCafe is a bespoke café experience that combines hand-crafted food and exceptional coffee, with state-of-the-art fabrication technology like 3D printing and laser cutting.

First Aid

The First Aid room is open daily from 10am - 10pm. Please approach our service staff if you require any medical assistance.

Guided Tours

Guided tours are conducted in English and Mandarin on Saturdays and Sundays. Each guided tour takes up to 20 people and is on a first come first served basis. Stickers will be given out 5 minutes before the tour time.

Food and Drinks
Consumption of food and drinks in the galleries is strictly prohibited. Food and beverage may be consumed in the lobby and foyer areas. Only food and beverage purchased from the food and beverage outlets within the Museum are allowed within the premises.

Photography and Video Recording
Photography and filming are strictly prohibited in the galleries.

Museum Displays
Visitors are encouraged to be hands on with the interactive displays to enhance your experience of the exhibitions. For artifacts on display, please refrain from touching them as oil and dirt from hands can cause damage to them.

Noise Level
For your enjoyment of the exhibitions and the comfort of all visitors, please turn your mobile phone to silent mode and refrain from talking or laughing loudly.

Safety of Young Visitors
Young visitors should be accompanied by adults during the visit. Young visitors are advised not to run in the galleries for their safety.

The Museum is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is prohibited within the Museum premises.

  • Both museum entrances are automatic.
  • All levels of ArtScience Museum can be accessed via the two lifts.
  • Handicapped parking is available at Marina Bay Sands car park. The closest car park to ArtScience Museum is the North Car Park.
  • Manual Wheelchairs are available upon request free of charge. Please visit our Visitor Services counter located in the lobby, or contact
  • Wheelchair-friendly washrooms are located on every floor of the museum.
  • All walk-through spaces within the galleries are at least 1.2 metres in width to accommodate wheelchairs
  • Standard-sized motorised wheelchairs are permitted in the galleries.

Service Dogs

  •  Service dogs are welcomed at ArtScience Museum.

Nursing Rooms

  • Nursing Rooms are located on levels B1 and B2, next to the washrooms.

  • Free Wifi is available throughout ArtScience Museum.
  • If First Aid is required, please approach one of our staff from the Visitor Services team located at Level 1.
  • Bags may be stored behind Visitor Service counter located at Level 1.
  • Exhibition space is climate controlled for artefact conservation reasons. You may wish to dress warmly during your visit.
