The Deep exhibition offers a wide-range of programmes and activities for audiences of all ages to journey through the realm of the deep sea, from fact-filled guided tours, fascinating storytelling to creative, hands-on workshops.

The Deep programme - Public Guided Tours

Why are some sea creatures transparent, and why are others bioluminescent? And how do animals survive at extreme depths? Learn about the extraordinary creatures of the The Abyss in this fact-filled tour.

Complimentary to ticket-holders of The Deep. Up to 25 visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Stickers will be given out five minutes before tour begins.

Making Space

Available throughout exhibition run

Use recycled materials to create your own upcycled sea creature from the deep, and make your own glowing Angler fish using a battery, UV LED and a simple circuit.

Complimentary to ticket holders of The Deep. Angler fish kit can be purchased at S$4 from the B2 retail outlet.

Plastic is one of the biggest man-made killers of maritime life. Learn about the different types of plastic and their impact on our oceans, and upcycle a plastic object to create your own deep-sea creature.

Some creatures have developed bioluminescent features to adapt to life in the deep. Learn more about these fascinating creatures and build your own Angler fish that glows!

Listen to master storyteller Kamini Ramachandran as she takes you to kingdoms below the seas. Enjoy stories about creatures, both real and mythical, that live in the deep.

Complimentary to all. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Recommended for visitors aged 4 and above.
